Rural New Life Development-Kenya(RUNELD) invests in local people’s health and capacity for prosperity. We offer primary health care services and create a conducive environment where women, orphans and vulnerable children (OVC’s) can live with dignity. We help rural folks meaningfully participate in Agri-business activities to mitigate the effects of poverty and HIV/AIDS in their families.

Our Work
RUNELD is a Kenyan based NGO registered as a faith based Nonprofit Organization, working for Healthy and productive family lives of rural people in Kenya. The organization is Head quartered in Rangwe Constituency, East Gem Ward: County Assembly Ward: East Gem, County Assembly Ward Kotieno, Sub–Locations of Homabay County.

How we Work
Engage Medical Consultants
We partner with local health workers in organizing medical camps where free testing and treatment is given to the rural residents. It is here that we also encourage residents to get tested for HIV.
Community Discussions
We engage community members in addressing stigma associated with persons living with HIV. Our goal is uniting rural communities and provide assistance to victims of sexual and Gender Based violence.
Advocacy
We run peer Education groups in youth groups, schools besides involving parents and teachers in Sexual Reproductive health Rights awareness.
Trainings
We implement Abstinence only training curriculum for Pre-teens .We also distribute learning materials to schools and offer entrepreneurship skills training to members of the public.

The Art of Living
There is a link between education and health. Healthy individuals are more productive in society. Here at Runeld, we believe in supporting the education of young ones and providing them with learning essentials. We also follow-up with mentorship of young teens on responsible living and the young adults on how to earn a decent living.
